West Coast Tug Columbia - $75.95 The Tug Columbia was built
for the Shaver Transportation Co. of Portland, Oregon, in the early-1980s.
Used for ship assistance in the harbor and for towing on the river, the 70' tug
has a telescoping pilot house that can be raised ten feet for better visibility over
a string of barges. This kit, in your choice of either waterline or full hull version, contains a cast resin hull, deckhouse and roof, with many finely cast Britannia
metal parts, photo etched brass rails and all the components needed to create
an authentic miniature of this sturdy utility tug. The full hull kit includes all
underwater details (Kort nozzles, rudders and propellers), while the waterline
hull (shown here) represents the vessel as she would be seen in action or at
the dock. 10.25"
